Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove excessive printing ink on a printed image surface and to recover excessive ink removing liquid surely without staining a printing matter.
CONSTITUTION: Excessive ink removing liquid is supplied to a contact roller by a supply nozzle. The liquid is incompatible with printing ink and has lower surface tension than the ink. The liquid on the contact roller 37 is brought into contact with the printed image surface of a printing matter. By supplying a greater amount of the liquid than 1/3 of the transition amount of the ink, the excessive part of the ink can be dispersed from the printing matter into the liquid on the roller 37 to be removed from the roller 37 by a blade 45.
