Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of properly processing individual image data even when a plurality of pieces of image data are continuously received in a printer.SOLUTION: A printer 1 analyzes reception data from the top and starts filing based on a head character when detecting the head character of image data of PDF. The printer 1 detects an end character from the reception data after starting the filing, finishes the filing and stores the generated file in a memory 40 when detecting another head character after detecting the end character or when not detecting another head character and specifying that the detected end character is the last end character included in the reception data. The printer 1 reads out the file stored in the memory 40, generates raster data by performing RIP processing based on the reception data indicated by the read file, and performs printing based on the generated raster data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
