Abstract:
To improve convenience of operation of a winding device in a printer.SOLUTION: A printer 10 includes a winding device 60 for winding a recording medium 5 by drive force of a drive part 62, and a body side control device provided on the printer body 11. The body side control device includes a winding control part for controlling tension imparted to the recording medium 5 by controlling an amount of winding the recording medium 5, and conveying the recording medium 5 to the upstream side or the downstream side in the conveyance direction. The printer body 11 includes a body operation part 110 connected to the winding control part. The winding device 60 includes an operation switch 63 which has a conveyance direction switch and an inverse direction switch, and is connected to the winding control part. The printer 10 is configured to convey the recording medium 5 to the upstream side or the downstream side in the conveyance direction by operation of the body operation part 110 or operation of the operation switch 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
