Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of performing beautiful printing free from the streaks caused by the wrinkles of an ink ribbon by eliminating the wrinkles of the ink ribbon generated at the part of a printing head.
SOLUTION: An engaging position on other side having a spacer bonded thereto is positioned under an engaging position on one side having the spacer not bonded thereto. A head frame 70 is engaged with a main body frame 60 from above and the a ribbon guide 56 pressing an ink ribbon 52 from above is arranged to the head frame 70. When the engaging position of the main body frame 60 with an engaging lever is lowered, the ink ribbon 52 is pressed downwardly corresponding thereto by the ribbon guide 56 and the feed distance of the ink ribbon 52 is made long to apply large tension to the ink ribbon 52. Therefore, the tension on the other side of the ink ribbon 52 is made large and tension is made almost equal on both sides of the ink ribbon 52 and the wrinkles generated in the ink ribbon are eliminated.
