Abstract:
To suppress adverse effect on output of printing processing due to an increase in processing load of a controller when the printing processing is executed.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus 10 includes a print engine 17, and a first controller 11 which creates raster data based on a print job and causes the print engine 17 to perform printing processing based on the created raster data. The controller 11 includes: a first core 20 which is a processor core that performs analyzing processing for analyzing a job control command contained in the print job; and a second core 21 which is a processor core that performs RIP processing for creating the raster data based on a PDL command.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
