Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing blanket which inhibits the inclusion of foreign matter at the time of printing and is capable of manufacturing precisely printed matter such as a color filter, with high precision and high yield, and a method for manufacturing the color filter using the printing blanket.
SOLUTION: The printing blanket has a surface printing layer which contains a silicone rubber as a base material rubber and has a volume resistivity of 1×103-1×109Ω.cm. The method for manufacturing the color filter is to form a filter layer for the color filter on a transparent base by an intaglio offset printing method using the printing blanket while discharging an electric charge through grounding the surface printing layer.
