Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a medium taken up to a take-up shaft in an overlapping manner from deviating in an axial direction of the take-up shaft in a printing technique for taking up the medium to the take-up shaft while applying tension thereto.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a printing part which prints an image on a first medium; a take-up shaft which takes up the first medium by rotating the first medium on which the image is printed; and a control part which controls tension applied to the first medium. The control part performs control so that the tension applied to the first medium is larger than 0[N] and less than 8[N] at the time of taking up the first medium to the take-up shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
