Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize reductions in cost and size particularly at the time of color printing (digitally offset printing) by a small plate in a printing machine of a rotary press for reversely forming an image and digitally resetting by using a thermal transfer and having an image forming unit, an erasing unit or a cleaning unit and at least one inking unit.
SOLUTION: A plate cylinder and a rubber blanket are integrated to one cylinder 10. A hydrophilic surface is provided on the cylinder 10 to execute a reversible image formation (plate manufacture). In order to directly cooperate with an impression cylinder 11 in case of printing on a carrier, the image forming unit 6, the erasing unit or the cleaning unit 7 and the inking unit can be arranged on the cylinder 10.
