Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance freedom of instruction of cutting in a printing system that prints an image on a continuous paper and can automatically cut the continuous paper at a portion between the images.
SOLUTION: A printer driver 520 indicates on a screen a message for asking the instruction as to whether or not the continuous paper is cut at a portion with respect to each image when the printing of each image is completed, after the printing on the continuous paper is started. When the instruction of cutting is received in the screen, the cutting is carried out at the portion between the image and the next image. When the instruction of not cutting is received, the printing is continued without carrying out the cutting. Since the instruction of cutting can be carried out after the printing is started and the instruction of the cutting can be made by each image, it is possible to enhance the flexibility of instruction of cutting.
