Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide prism holding structure for a finder capable of attaching a prism in a finder main body frame without damaging the emitting end face of the prism by providing a clearance with the prism in a frame body holding the prism.
SOLUTION: The clearance (d) is provided at the part of an ocular frame 70, where the prism 72 is housed, and the prism 72 is movably inserted in the housing part. Namely, the emitting surface 72E of the prism 72 on which a subject image is formed is inserted in the ocular frame 70 without causing a situation that it is brought into contact with an H visual field frame 75 and damaged. Thereafter, a prism pressing plate 73 is inserted in a gap part formed by the clearance, and the prism 72 is energized to the frame 75 side and fixed. Thus, a pin 72F provided on the base of the prism 72 abuts on the end face of a recessed part for positioning 70B formed on the base of the 2nd housing frame 70 and the emitting surface 72E of the prism 72 is positioned proximately to the H visual field frame 75.
