Abstract:

To provide a procedure to rapidly heat up or keep warm an emission control assembly of a motor vehicle provided with a hybrid drive train without sensing of a difference with a normal drive.

In the procedure for heating-up or keeping warm the emission control assembly of a motor vehicle provided with a drive train 11 driven by an internal combustion engine 12 and at least one driving unit 13 and provided with a transmission 15, the rotational speed or torque of the internal combustion engine 12 in the running states other than the idling state is set to a rotational speed or torque different from the rotational speed or torque which should be attained in the same running states without heating-up or keeping warm the emission control assembly.
