Abstract:
A process cartridge comprises a photosensitive drum; a developing roller for developing a latent image on the photosensitive drum; a drive inputting portion for receiving rotational force for rotating the developing roller; an urging force receiving portion for receiving an urging force, the urging force receiving portion being movable between a first position and a second position in a state that the developing roller contacts the photosensitive drum; and a clutch capable of transmitting the rotational force received by the drive inputting portion to the developing roller when the urging force receiving portion is in the first position, and the clutch is capable of preventing the transmission of the rotational force to the developing roller when the urging force receiving portion is in the second position.
