Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform an on-line test including a process controller by a computer alone, by assembling a process controller simulating device in the computer. CONSTITUTION:The computer 1 fetches a plant state change signal from the process controller (PC)5 via an input/output subroutine 17 started up cyclically from a communication processing part 9, and stores it in a data table 16. A state change detecting part 10 performs the analysis of a fetched plant state change signal, and after checking rationality, it outputs an alarm message when abnormality is generated, to a CRT3 and a T/W4 via an editing part 13, a man-machine part 14, and a document output part 15. The process controller simulating device 18 is stored in the computer 1, and the subroutine which accesses to a process signal table 22 in an auxiliary storage device is provided in the device instead of the input/output subroutine 17, and the PC5 is simulated by switching.
