Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a process for producing a finishing agent for production of a high-quality lithographic plate having improved printing characteristics by using an image-forming element having a base provided with a hydrophilic surface, according to a DTR method and a process for producing the high- quality lithographic plate having the improved printing characteristics by using the image forming element having the base provided with the hydrophilic surface according to the DTR method.
CONSTITUTION: One or more kind of the polyglycols of the finishing agent, contg. one or more kinds of hydrophobing agents of a total concn. between 0.1 and 10g/l, one or more kinds of surface active compds. and one or more kinds of the polyglycols contain at least 50wt.% ethylene oxide group and/or propylene oxide group and the total number thereof is at least 12. Such polyglycols exist in the total amt. of at least 20g/l in the finishing agent. The process for producing the offset printing plate, according to the silver salt diffusion transfer method by using the same, is provided.
