A processing and conveying device for cylindrical containers, lower rails 1, 1 on which cylindrical containers C unstable in the vertical attitude, whose bottom surfaces are faced up are to be placed are arranged on the lower surface in parallel with the conveying direction, guide plates 2, 2 with which the outer surface of the cylindrical containers C are to be brought in contact are longitudinally provided on both right and left sides in the conveying direction, a rotational conveying shaft 5 in which spiral grooves 6 having small clearances in which the cylindrical containers C can be rotated in the width direction and for generating wide clearances in the longitudinal direction is arranged in the center part between the guide plates 2, 2, the contact points of the cylindrical containers C and the guide plates 2 are taken as fulcrums, the contact parts of the cylindrical parts C and the spiral grooves 6 of the rotational conveying shaft 5 are taken as the points where force is applied, and the cylindrical containers C are conveyed while being rotated.
