To reduce derivation of an image on a surface of a printing plate with a printed image by carrying out a processing in the presence of imidazolo[4,5-e]pyrimidine, its deriv., 1,2,3-triazolo[4,5-e] pyrimidine or its deriv.
A planographic printing plate with a layer of physical developing nuclei between the Al substrate and a silver halide emulsion layer is processed in the presence of imidazolo[4,5-e]pyrimidine, its deriv., 1,2,3-triazolo[4,5-e]- pyrimidine or its deriv. The physical developing nuclei may be those used of a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process and colloid of gold or silver or a metal sulfide prepd. by mixing a water-soluble salt of palladium, etc., with a sulfide may be used. An image on the surface of the resultant planographic printing plate can be allowed to practically eliminate the deviation with an image on printed matter by printing utilizing a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process.
