To provide a processing method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material which suppresses precipitation and muddying in a stabilizing tank in rapid processing and in continuous processing under a low replenishment condition, and suppresses back stain in long-term storage of the silver halide color photographic sensitive material after development.

In the processing method for the silver halide color photographic sensitive material, the silver halide color photographic sensitive material is processed through a color developing step, a bleaching fixing step or bleaching and fixing steps, a stabilizing step or a rinsing step, and a drying step, wherein a stabilizing solution used in the stabilizing step or a rinsing solution used in the rinsing step contains a compound represented by formula (I) and a surface tension of the stabilizing solution or the rinsing solution is 30-55 mN/m.
