Abstract:
PURPOSE: To let a part or all of processing solution including anion surface active agent in a fluorine series flow in a processing tank having fixing power, reduce the amount of waste solution to a great extent, make a pigment image excellent in shelf life, prevent photosensitive material from being sticky after processing has been over, let processing be continued with no oily substance produced even if a part or all of stabilizing solution is made to flow in processing solution having fixing power, make processing solution excellent in stability, and enhance a recovery rate of silver.
CONSTITUTION: In the processing method for silver halide photosensitive material, which processes the photosensitive material with processing solution having fixing poser, it is characterized in that after the photosensitive material has been processed with processing solution having fixing power, the material is processed with processing solution including anion surface active agent in a fluorine series, and beside, a part or all of processing solution including anion surface active agent in a fluorine series is added to processing solution having fixing power.
