Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a processing method for a silver halide photosensitive material low in variation of a picture performance even when a replenishing amount of a developer per unit area of the photosensitive material is low.
CONSTITUTION: In the processing method, the silver halide photosensitive material having at least one layer of a silver halide emulsion layer and at least one layer of a non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloidal layer on a supporting body and containing amino compd. or hydroxybenzene compd. in the emulsion layer and/or the hydrophilic colloidal layer is subjected to developing treatment while replenishing the developer in a ratio of ≤250ml replenishing amount per 1m2 photosensitive material in an automatical developing machine added the developer of ≤pH 9.8.
