Abstract:
To provide a processing solution for a silver halide photographic sensitive material which prevents occurrence of defects in a drying step after processing, such as defects including deposition due to residual salt by insufficient washing and defects due to water droplets, etc., by uneven drying, and to provide a processing method.
The processing solution for a silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a compound represented by formula (I): R-O-(CH2CH2O)n-H (where R represents an 8-20C alkyl and n represents a number of 7-9) and has an electric conductivity of ≤2 μS/cm. The processing method uses the same.
