PURPOSE: Paste of food materials is foamed by mixing it with air by stirring, sent into the forming machine to effect continuous formation and the formed product is heat-treated to produce foamed paste food, especially HANPEN (cake of pounded fish) of uniform quality continuously.
CONSTITUTION: Raw materials are made into paste with a silent cutter 11 and sent into a hopper 12. The materials are forcibly passed through pipe 31 of stainless steel continuously into air mixer 32 by driving the screw type pump 13. The materials include air to give the first intermediate, which is sent, without exposure to air, from the mixer 32 through pipe 42 into the forming machine 19. The intermediate is formed into a prescribed shape as the second intermediate 26 and the intermediate 26 drop on the belt conveyer 29 and are conveyed into boiling the tank 30 filled with hot water at 80W90°C to undergo sufficient heat treatment and sterilization.
