Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a granite-like tile having depth like a natural granite.
CONSTITUTION: An upper layer material containing 80-20wt.% base material to be a non-light-transmission base by firing is mixed with 20-80wt.% vitreous material, which is to be light transmission vitreous by firing and has 0.5-5mm particle diameter. Next, a two layer formed body is formed by forming an under layer material to be an under layer base of the tile and the upper layer material into two layers. And the tile having a granite-like pattern is obtained on the surface by firing the two layer formed body. And the same granite-like pattern is obtained in a tile formed and fired by using only the upper layer material.
