Abstract:
PURPOSE: The cultivation of a microorganism in Brevibacterium permits the direct production of guanosine phosphates.
CONSTITUTION: A bacterium in Brevibacterium, requiring adenine and guanine for its growth and producing guanosine phosphates with resistance to guanine analogs is inoculated in a culture medium containing adenine and xanthine and cultured aerobically at a pH of 6.0W9.0, preferably of 6.5W8.3 and the objective guanosine phosphates are collected from the culture mixture.
