Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a production method for efficiently obtaining a halogen- containing aminomethyl compound by using a halogen-containing nitrile compound as a raw material, suppressing formation of by-products.

CONSTITUTION: In production of a halogen-containing aminomethyl compound by reducing a halogen-containing nitrile compound with ammonia in the presence of a heterogeneous system-based catalyst, a production method for obtaining the halogen-containing aminomethyl compound characterized by adding an ammonium salt to the reaction system in the reduction reaction is provided.
