Title:
PRODUCTION OF HOT ROLLED STEEL PLATE FOR PORCELAIN ENAMELING, EXCELLENT IN FISHSCALE RESISTANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08269540
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a hot rolled steel plate for porcelain enameling, excellent in fishscale resistance, by applying hot rolling to a steel slab having a specific composition having respectively specified Ti and S contents under specific conditions.

CONSTITUTION: A slab of a steel, having a composition consisting of, by weight, ≤0.010% C, ≤3.0% Mn, ≤0.10% P, ≤0.10% S, :0.10% Al, 0.001-0.020% N, 0.01-0.10% Cu, Ti in the amount satisfying inequality 4C+1.5S+3.4N≤Ti(%)≤0.30, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities, is prepared. This steel slab is used as a stock and hot rolling is applied to it so that, when FDT(°C) means finishing temp. and CT(°C) means coiling temp., inequality CT≤2250-2(FDT) is satisfied. By this method, the hot rolled steel plate for porcelain enameling, excellent in fishscale resistance, can be produced advantageously.
