Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of liquid crystal display(LCD) device by which a satisfactory connecting state can be provided by using an anisotropic conductive film even when terminal electrodes is made close and their density is made large.
SOLUTION: A terminal electrode 2 composed of ITO drawn from pixel electrodes arranged on the surface of a glass substrate composing an LCD panel 1 and a TCP 3 having a terminal electrode 4 designed and produced corresponding to the terminal electrode 2 are heated and pressurized through the anisotropic conductive film composed of conductive particles 5 and resins 6, and the terminal electrode 2 and terminal electrode 4 are connected. Concerning the method of heating and pressurizing at such a time, the first pressurization is carried out in a shot time with a high pressure and the second pressurization is carried out for a long time rather than the first pressurization with a pressure lower than the first pressurization, or the first heating is carried out in a short time at a high temperature and the second heating is carried out for a long time rather than the first heating at a temperature lower than the first heating or both are carried out simultaneously so as to execute thermocompression.
