Title:
MULTIPLE PORT REGISTER FILM FOR COMMON USED BY FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3540179
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive finite impulse response(FIR) filter which uses a time multiplex multiplier, having multiple coefficients every multiplier in particular in the FIR filter.
SOLUTION: This multiple port register film 101 stores a coefficient used by an adaptive FIR filter and is a calculating means for calculating one or more pairs which include a memory for storing the coefficient value, an output latch and the coefficient or a numerical value deviated from the coefficient. This calculating means exists outside of an arbitrary important path for updating the coefficient value or filtering by the filter. By the use of this improved type multiple port register film 101, it is possible to manufacture the adaptive FIR filter which operates at higher speed and is low in power consumption.
