To obtain an inexpensive and good-quality medicinal dentifrice excellent in teeth and bone restorative effect by using, as an abrasive, natural apatite extracted from fish scales and bone as a kind of waste which is noncrystalline and porous and also contains valuable trace metals such as iron and zinc in contrast to conventional synthetic apatite.

This medicinal dentifrice contains, as abrasive, natural apatite which is obtained by alkali extraction from the scales and bone of fishes such as sardines, sea breams or mackerel-pikes.
