Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain plywood having smoothness, in producing painted form plywood by painting the surface of plywood, by making it possible to repair the fine unvenness of the surface of the plywood so as to obtain a uniform surface by using an aqueous urethane resin having a carboxyl group on the surface of the plywood.
CONSTITUTION: Painted plywood used in a form at the time of the casting of concrete is obtained by painting the surface of plywood with a resin compsn based on an aqueous urethane resin having a carboxyl group. That is, the above mentioned resin compsn. is used as the undercoat resin of usual polywood and applied to the plywood by a painting machine such as a knife coater and, after drying, a solvent or solventless type resin is applied to the plywood as topcoat paint to be dried. The aqueous urethane resin having a carboxyl group is obtained by neutralizing a prepolymer having an isocyanate group obtained by reacting dlisocyanate with polyol having a carboxylic acid group with a basic org. substance and subsequently subjecting the same to chain growth by polyamine and/or deionized water.
