PURPOSE: To enhance the bonding strength of a pipe main body and a receiving port by connecting an inner mold to which a pipe is set and an outer mold to form a cavity and sending hot air into the cavity to heat the end part of the pipe to the vicinity of the m.p. of the pipe and, after cutting off the hot air, injecting a molten molding material into the cavity to form the receiving port to the end part of the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic alloy heater 18 is attached to the heater mounting part 26 of an inner mold 18 and a pipe 12' of which the leading end part is preheated is attached to the pipe mounting part 22. At this time, the leading end part of the pipe 12' is expanded in its dameter by the taper 24 of the inner mold 18. An outer mold 20, that is, first molds 20a, 20b are closed to form a cavity and hot air is sent into the cavity from the hot air generator 57 connected to a hot air route 42. At this time, both of hot air blowoff and discharge ports 38,40 are opened. When the leading end part of the pipe 12' is heated to the vicinity of the m.p. thereof, the hot air blowoff and discharge ports 38,40 are closed and a molding material is injected into the ciavity from the injection molding machine connected to a gate. After the leading end part of the pipe 12' and the molding material are cooled, the outer mold 20 is opened to take out a pipe 2 fitted with a receiving port from the inner mold 18.
