Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound that is useful as a raw material for polyurethane-urea resin with high amination ratio of terminal hydroxyl groups in a lower viscosity without undergoing complicated processes by aminating the terminal hydroxyl groups of polyoxyalkylene polyol prepared by polyaddition polymerization via a specific process.
SOLUTION: In the presence of a phosphazene compound of the formula (Q is a 1-20 hydrocarbon), typically 1-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)-2,2,2-tris(dimethylamino)phosphazene, the terminal hydroxyl groups of polyoxyalkylene polyol prepared by polyaddition polymerization of an alkylene oxide as propylene oxide to an active hydrogen atom-bearing compound as glycerol at 15-130°C under the maximum pressure of 9 kgf/cm2 is aminated with ammonia in the presence of a hydrogenation-dehydrogenation catalyst as Ni on kieselgur at 60-280°C under the maximum pressure of 150 kgf/cm2 to give the objective compound.
