Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for producing a semiblown asphalt for road pavement easily without fail which is excellent in flow resistance. exhibits slight degradation in quality during storage, and meets the AC-100 specifications.
CONSTITUTION: About 20-50wt.% blown asphalt having a penetration higher than 10 but not higher than 30 or waterproofing asphalt having a penetration index lower than 6.0 is melt mixed with about 80-50wt.% straight asphalt.
