Abstract:

PURPOSE:To produce a reactive silicon polymer having a polymerizable group readily with good reproducibility and at a low cost using inexpensive raw materials. CONSTITUTION:A hydrolyzable organosiloxane having Si-bonded R<3>O groups is subject to exchange reaction with an organic polymer which functions as a backbone and has OH and/or COOH and with a reactive organic compound which has OH and/or COOH and has a polymerizable unsaturated or epoxy group. Thus, a reactive silicon polymer having a polymerizable unsaturated or epoxy group is obtained.
