Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce a vinyl-modified alkyd resin excellent in driability and rust preventive properties. CONSTITUTION:20-80wt.% (in terms of the solid matter) alkyd resin modified with a semidrying or drying oil of an oil length of 30-60, 67-10wt.% (in terms of the solid matter) alpha,beta-ethylenically unsaturated compound and 3-20wt.% diacetoneacrylamide are mixed and reacted to obtain a vinyl-modified alkyd resin.
