Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system capable of suppressing complication of authentication processing.SOLUTION: An authentication system 1 comprises: a gate device 40 which can open/close a passage having first and second entrances; a first detection device 200 which detects an authentication signal from an authentication medium 10 at the first entrance to acquire authentication information and signal intensity information; a second detection unit 300 which detects an authentication signal from the authentication medium 10 at the second entrance to acquire authentication information and signal intensity information; and an authentication control device 23 which transmits the authentication information acquired by the first or second detection device to an authentication server. The authentication system controls opening/closing of the gate device 40 on the basis of the authentication result of the authentication server. The authentication control device 23 transmits the authentication information acquired by the first detection device 200 or the second detection device 300 to the authentication server on the basis of the signal intensity information associated with the authentication information when the first detection device 200 and the second detection device 300 acquire the same authentication information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
