Abstract:
To provide a program, device and method for estimating the number of users staying in each area for each time zone by GPS positioning logs and position registration logs.SOLUTION: The program has a log database in which sectors based on base stations connected from terminals carried by users and areas based on position information positioned by the terminals are stored, to estimate the number of users staying in a pertinent area for each prescribed time zone and causes a computer to function as: first distribution proportion calculation means which uses the log data base to extract the number of terminals in each of pairs of the sectors and the areas for each prescribed time zone and preliminarily calculates first distribution proportions of the numbers of terminals in the respective areas with respect to a pertinent sector; and first number-of-users estimation means which, with respect to the pertinent area for an object time zone, estimates a sum total of products between the numbers of terminals in the respective sectors and the first distribution proportions as the number of users staying in the pertinent area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
