To provide a program material display device making it possible to confirm the display position/superimposition timing of super raw material in a display picture of a broadcast program while making the configuration of a system compact and low-priced.
A video server 12 is connected to a first input channel of a matrix switcher 11, a super material sender 13 is connected to a second input channel, and a superimposer 14 is connected to an output channel. A terminal device 17 performs sending-out control over the video server 12 and super material sender 13 and also performs switching control over the matrix switcher 11 while timing inputs thereof to the matrix switcher 11, and the superimposer 14 puts arbitrary material and arbitrary super material together, so that the resulting program is previewed through a monitor/speaker 15.
