Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute an optical processing system very compact by driving a laser oscillator of red, blue, green in response to the primary color signal component of a color video signal and utilizing the difference from refractive index due to wavelength so as to synthesize each output laser beam into one light beam. CONSTITUTION:A projection type receiver 11 drives red, blue, green laser oscillators 12r, 12g, 12b in response to the primary color signal component in the color video signal and synthesizes each output laser beam into one light beam by utilizing the difference from refractive index due to wavelength and a light beam scanner 15 deflects the synthesized light beam into two directions, horizontal and vertical according to the synchronizing signal included in the color video signal. A He-Ne layer is used for the red laser oscillator 12r, a He-Cd laser is used for the blue laser oscillator 12b and an Ar<+> is used for the green laser oscillator 12g. Moreover, the light beam synthesizer 14 is provided with a refraction prism arranging the radiation angle of the red, green and blue laser beams whose incident angle differs from each other by utilizing the difference from the refractive index due to wavelength.
