Abstract:
To provide a projector which can reduce a speckle.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: a laser light source 10; an optical modulation element 20 for modulating light emitted from the laser light source 10 according to image information; and a rockable diffusion element 18 in an optical path between the laser light source 10 and the light modulation element 20. The laser light source 10 has a substrate, a light-emitting layer, and a photonic crystal structure for closing the light emitted from the light-emitting layer in an in-plane direction of the substrate and making the closed light emitted to the normal direction of the substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
