PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance propeller efficiency as a total by strengthening production of a hub eddy by a propeller in a range where a hub eddy eliminating device functions, and as a result, making the hub eddy eliminating device sufficiently function.
SOLUTION: In the propeller of a ship having the hub eddy eliminating device to eliminate the eddy from the propeller hub, the feature is that a pitch or a camber in a blade root part is made larger than that of an intermediate part.
