Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device of secondary battery having excess charge protection function capable of securing safety at the time of voltage detection abnormality of battery cell blocks connected in series and battery abnormality.
SOLUTION: In this battery pack, a plurality of battery cell blocks 13A-13C are connected in series, and charge FET 14C and discharge FET 14D capable of performing ON and OFF control are disposed. In this case, a voltage detection part for detecting voltage of each battery cell blocks 13A-13D at the time of charge and discharge and a charge and discharge switch control part 16 for controlling the above FET so as to prohibit the charge at the time when one of the detection voltage of the battery cell blocks 13A-13C is a constant value or lower are provided.
