To provide a water-stream pulsation generating device having an inexpensive and compact constitution for generating pulsation in a water stream without wasting electric energy while avoiding the generation of noise caused by the vibration of a motor during generating the pulsation.

The pulsation generating device 32 includes a pulsation generating valve 38 which has a valve casing 40 having a flow-in port 45 and a flow-out port 46, a valve element 50 provided in the valve casing 40 in a reciprocating manner, a coil spring 51 for thrusting the valve element 50 to be closed by a resilient force, and a water shut-off member 58 for shutting off water between the valve element 50 and a valve seat 64 in a water tight manner, and properly sets the resilient force of the coil spring 51 to alternately change magnitude relations between force to open the valve element 50 and a force to close it, so that the valve element 50 is reciprocated to generate the pulsation in a water stream.
