Title:
PULSE TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11242794
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate erroneous measurement due to voltage drop of operating power source of a remote measuring display whose operating power source is supplied from a communication line, to unnecessitate a capacitor for holding voltage and to prevent the erroneous measurement by preventing measurement of interference pulse due to stray electrostatic capacity to exist in the communication line in a pulse transmitter/ receiver to transmit the number of pulses in proportion to electric energy of valid power and invalid power and to perform remote measurement and display.

The pulse transmitter/receiver is provided with a pulse transmitting means 13 to store valid electric energy pulse and invalid electric energy pulse in each of buffers 17, 18 and to transmit the pulses inputted in the buffers 17, 18 to the communication line by successively making them into off-pulse forms so that the pulses are not duplicated and a pulse arranging means 19 to confirm voltage recovery of the communication lines 4, 5 from which the pulses are transmitted and to be transferred to the next transmission processing at its transmission side. In addition, the interference pulse due to the stray electrostatic capacity of time communication line is disregarded by discriminating difference in pulse width between normal electric energy pulse and the interference pulse by pulse width discriminating means 31, 32, 40.
