Abstract:
To provide a vehicle detector not to be restricted on a lane corresponding to a free flow system.
The vehicle detector 1 is mounted on the upper side of a road surface 7 of a road with plural lanes and detects entry of a vehicle. Images of plural lanes are picked up by a lens 2. Infrared ray to be received from the lens 2 is sensed and an image signal 8 is outputted by an infrared ray sensor 3. The image signal 8 is fetched and image data 9 is outputted by an image signal fetching part 4. A data processing of the image data 9 is performed and a vehicle detection signal 10 is outputted by a signal processing part 5. The vehicle detection signal 10 is outputted as a sensed signal 11 to the outside by an interface part 6.
