Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable burning pulverized coal at a high pulverized coal concentration (C/A) even at the time of a low load.
CONSTITUTION: A concentrating means 18 comprising an air-bleeding pipe 19 and an air flow-rate-regulating damper 20 is provided for the purpose of increasing the concentration of the pulverized coal in a pulverized coal nozzle 8 over the concentration at the time of ordinary operation. When the load is low, C/A declines; therefore, by bleeding primary air through the air-bleeding pipe 19 C/A is increased.
