Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a pulverized coal burner capable of accommodating a low load operation of a coal fired boiler, showing a small size and having a simple structure.
CONSTITUTION: A pulverized coal burner has a substantial cylindrical inner cylinder 12 having its base end closed and its extremity end released and further has a plurality of injection holes 15 coaxially enclosing the outer circumference of a base end of the inner cylinder, its base end and its extremity end closed and directed in a tangential direction around the inner cylinder. It is comprised of a base end intermediate cylinder 14 having a substantial cylindrical shape so as to cause air to be supplied into it, a substantial cylindrical extremity end intermediate cylinder 16 having its base end and extremity end released, and an outer cylinder 18 coaxially enclosing coaxially the base end intermediate cylinder and the extremity end intermediate cylinder, having its extremity end released and having air containing pulverized coal supplied to the base end portion.
