Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pushbutton-type locking device which can be unlocked by pressing the same pushbutton a plurality of number of times, to thereby increase the combination of unlocking numbers without increasing the numbers of the pushbuttons and tumblers so much.
SOLUTION: The pushbutton-type locking device is constructed such that a slider 20 energized to a locking location is allowed to move to an unlocking location by pressing the several unlocking tumblers 15A, 15B set beforehand by the pushbuttons 14. The pushbutton-type locking device is comprised of a positioning mechanism 41 and an intermediate mechanism 56. The positioning mechanism 41 sets the tumblers 15A to 15C which are set to respective temporary locations, to a plurality of locations different in a front-rear direction of a holder case 6. The intermediate mechanism 56 advances the tumblers 15A to 15C set to the respective temporary locations toward a rear surface of the holder case 6 one by one whenever the pushbuttons 14 corresponding to the tumblers are pressed.
