To provide a pusher capable of being miniaturized and capable of sufficiently ensuring stroke size for forwarding and retreating a head plate.

A pusher 20 is composed of a head plate 21 conducting forwarding-retreating motions between the place of a retreat and the place of forwarding, a guide member supporting the head plate 21 while guiding the head plate 21 along the moving path of the head plate 21, shaft members 23a, 23b extended while being crossed with the guide member, a plurality of operating members 24a, 24b installed to the shaft members 23a, 23b while being paired on both sides to crossed sections with the guide member and moved to the shaft members 23a, 23b, and a pair of arm members 25, in which one ends are connected to the operating members 24a, 24b and the other ends are coupled with the head plate 21 and which convert motions in the axial direction of the operating members 24a, 24b into a motion in the direction of the guide member of the head plate 21. Accordingly, the depth of the pusher 20 can be miniaturized while ensuring stroke size for forwarding and retreating the head plate 21.
