The radio communication system of the present invention comprises: radio communication equipment 103; a headset 101; and the cellular telephone 102 radio-communicable with the radio communication equipment 103 and the headset 101. The radio communication equipment 103 has: a means receiving incoming call information from the cellular telephone 102; a means displaying an incoming call notification; and a means transmitting a call reception request signal asking the cellular telephone 102 to handle the call reception. The cellular telephone 102 has: a means transmitting the incoming call information in accordance with the incoming call to the radio communication equipment 103; a means receiving the call reception request signal from the radio communication equipment 103; a means executing the call reception in accordance with the call reception request signal; and a means starting voice communication with the headset 101 in accordance with the handling of the call reception. The headset 101 has a means executing the voice communication with the cellular telephone 102.
