Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce waiting time in communication by a telephone line of a slave unit FAX and to improve usability by securing the telephone line after the call termination processing of a master unit and enabling the communication by the telephone line of the slave unit FAX.
CONSTITUTION: After a link channel is established, when a call is terminated from a line to a master unit FAX, the master unit FAX gives the incoming call priority and closes the line with an exchange. Since an outside line call is terminated, the master unit FAX sends out signals for disconnecting connection with the slave unit FAX and further, broadcasts the connected all the slave unit FAXes that the outside call is terminated. Thus, all the slave unit FAXes recognize that call origination to an outside line can not be performed. Then, when the communication is ended, the line is released, however, it is immediately closed, the incoming call is excluded and the line is secured. After performing closing in such a manner, to the slave unit FAX for which an ID number is stored, it is reported that the line can be used and transmission permission is given.
